03/09/24 email rcvd ::: Rogue parking in Market Place
Please do not ignore this email
Hello, I have an office on Market Place - Number 15. A few years ago the Market Place parking arrangement was re-arranged and it wasn’t thought through properly as there was a single space made at the Gumstool Road end which made it very difficult for cars to go around the Market place without having to back up and re-try. Everyone complained and ’the council’ came and erased the problem single parking spot - except they did it very badly leaving obvious traces of the white lines and people are STILL parking in this ’slot’, not all the time, but enough for it to be REALLY annoying - I suspect it’s mainly Air B & B people who don’t care and leave their litter in the Square as well.
This could easily be sorted out by someone coming and properly erasing the faded white lines and putting in a small yellow ‘X’ box which would them make it very clear no one should park there.
At the moment anyone who parks there is deluged with rude notes being affixed to the car windscreen and there have been arguments between residents and the morons who park their car there..
Could someone kindly look into this?
- none of it would be an issue if the whiles had been erased properly in the first place…………
Pics attached of the current moron Skoda parked illegally in this place making it very difficult to pass
Many thanks
