Pothole on road/cycleway problem

Reported via Open311 in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 15:35, Tuesday 3 September 2024

Council ref: 2501568.

My daughter was driving to Riseholme college this morning, 03/09/24 on Horncastle Lane, Lincoln at 08:45.
I received a distressed call from her as she had hit a pothole and subsequently, ripped her tyre on her car. This was more distressing for her as she has very recently passed her driving test and it was her first day back at college.
The pothole was not marked on the road as a known hazard to drivers.
I would like to claim for the cost of repairs to the damage that was caused.
For your ease, I enclose photographs of the road surface, the tyre and also the invoice for the repair.
