I have reported this tree before and nothing has happened to save it. I also spoke to a council person cutting hedges nearby and again no change. I assume the council planted it as it’s on a public road. It has come away from it’s cracked support and is leaning towards the road. Can someone please get another support and stake it back up. It's a shame to see it like this.

Thank you for your report. The tree has been checked and found to have been most likely hit by a vehicle. It is stable and not considered a hazard to the highway. The team will return when ground is softer in the autumn to re tie the tree stem in a more vertical position.
