Huge drain cover missing with deep hole underneath

Sent to Richmond upon Thames Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6420405.

In the passage the adjoining 16 Manor Gardens that leads from Manor Gardens to the back of the houses a huge drain cover is missing with a 4ft deep(2ft x 1ft)dangerous hole underneath that anyone or anything could fall into especially at night. It worries me terribly in that young kids play in this passage...

  • The guys on the building site by the hole have put two temporary loose planks on it but it still very much needs something permanent because children and animals can still fall a long way down it.... causing major injury. Especially at night time when it isn't lit. John Dodds
