On Styal road on the left heading towards Quarry bank mill just before the entrance to the carrs car park on the left hand side of road.

Very deep pothole next to the grid which has exposed the corner of the grid. The grid is sticking up and the hole is filled with water so you cannot judge how deep it is. It is unavoidable due to the size of the carriageway. The pothole / grid and caused a numerous about of damage to vehicles already and has been report back in May 2024. If a cyclist is to hit it it may cause big injuries if not death.
