Near the brow between Wilmslow and Styal (travelling in direction of Styal)
Reported via mobile in the Carriageway category anonymously at 19:07, Fri 30 August 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6418366.
Ironmongery (a grid or a grate?) protruding from road. I hear a noise and immediately my tyre pressure alarm in the car lit up. Then driving went a bit clunky in the wheel area. Examined tyre when I could exit the vehicle safely and it was completely flat. The car had just had its MOT last month. Had two children in the car with me when this happened and it was very stressful. I am unsure of costs to repair but will seek recompense. As importantly, this area of road seems to require fixing to avoid further such incidents.
