Blocking light.. touching building.

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6417497.

Tree area outside 14 Chalkenden Close. Completely blocking out natural light... also branches reaching over and touching homes that are adjacent. Branches over walkways breaking off, risk of injury to pedestrians.

  • Thank you for the enquiry, a job has been raised to reduce the tree away from the building. This work is with our contractor to action, they will attend to the tree in due course.

  • This has been reported multiple times, could have been done over winter when trees were bare, now about rebud as we go into Spring and no action taken despite Bromley keep closing the job despite doing nothing. Please deal with this issue.

  • Please accept our apologies that this enquiry has an unresolved status. The contractor has confirmed that they will rectify the uncompleted works and has a deadline till the end of this week. If the works are not rectified by then, they will be taken off the contractor and issued to a third party contractor who will undertake the works in a timely manner.
