Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6393182.
Excessive flooding in road every time it rains. No drains in road. Clay soil has compacted between bricks so the water doesn’t drain away.

This happens every time there's rainfall now - not just during excessive rain. The water has nowhere to drain as the 'porous' road is completely full of clay-soil that has amounted over the years. Every time a car drives through the flooded water, the water rides up to our driveway and garden. This problem is worsening and we're desperate for a fix.

Update: Today's rainfall is now causing flooding higher than the kerb, and people (esp elderly/wheelchair-users in the next-door apartment block) can't get past. Please can we get some help!

Thank you for your report. Both our Operations Team and Schemes Team are working on a resolution for this issue on Buttercross Lane. Due to the lack of positive drainage and porous brickwork this may require a substantial amount of work to rectify. This will be done as soon as possible and we appreciate your patience. Once we have more information we will update you further. Thank you.
