Hazard on River Avon Trail, Crews Hole - collapsed barrier round subsided section of path

Reported via desktop in the Harbourside surface issue category anonymously at 16:06, Thu 22 August 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6387295.

The location of this issue is https://what3words.com/ open.adjust.custom?maptype=satellite A problem of a section of the River Avon Trail at Crews Hole collapsing was reported some months ago. Plastic barriers were put around the section and screwed to the path surface. The barriers have now all collapsed provided a trip hazard and bicycle collision risk particularly at night but always an issue for anyone with a visual impairment. A repair to the path is a matter of urgency. The depth of collapse has increased while repairs have not been carried out. Please can barriers be put in place that will help people avoid tripping/falling in the dark and the repair work carried out at soon as possible.
