The footpath from Springfield park turning towards mill street is not safe

Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 16:04, Mon 19 August 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6375035.

Hi there, so walking to school daily and along that path from Springfield park towards the traffic lights at mill street (junction for marriots) there are many many overhanging low branches, there’s scrubs thistle plants including that overhang into the path along the bottom as there is 2 paths. The top path the hedges are covering so much of the path it’s unusable for strollers and young children. The lower path is also not safe as the hedges overhang and tree branches ext. I have a daughter with asd so has to be close to me but gets hurt by the thistle bushes (I did chop some down as I got sick and tired of it) same with over hanging branches that you have to duck below to get through. The path is also very uneven and dangerous as I have almost tripped up a few times (this is more near Springfield park turning).
