Double yellow line

Sent to Newport Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6374208.

Cars parked all the way down Castle Way. It's quite dangerous, especially when you turn from Tredgwylim Road. You can't see oncoming cars.

  • The problem has never been fixed. Although double yellow lines were in place, cars again started parking on the castleway. in particular, some car parking right in front of the T-junction, which causes dangerous situations. Plus, people have avoided parking their cars in their parking lots since the double yellow lines set up on the castleway. Some of them decided to park on Tregwilm Road by the castleway junction. The parking cars caused a big blind spot and a great risk when the other was trying to turn into Tregwilym Road.
