Parking

Reported via mobile in the Car parking category anonymously at 13:37, Mon 19 August 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6374156.

Parking on stagshawdrive has been a problem for a very long time. The council put in a single yellow line on the right side of the road to stop people parking down the road but commuter, euro cars and football fans now park on the left side of the road which leads to blind spots as people come out of the culder sac. This is dangerous and can cause an accident. As you can see from the picture the cars are not abiding my the road law and leaving 7 to 10 feet clear of a turning. Water hydrants are blocked If needed for emergency and large vehicle to come down the street. I believe if you put an appeal out to local residents they would all agree that parking is become ridiculous down this street from Monday to Sunday there is not a day that this road is safe for residents to come out of their culder sacs.
