Confusing and missing signage

Reported via mobile in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 20:58, Sunday 18 August 2024

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6371456.

The signage on this road (both roadside and road paintings) is confusing and inadequate. If using the Hythe Bypass to travel South East (from Marchwood to Holbury), there appear to be no roadside signs indicating which lane should be used, despite this being a 6-exit roundabout. Both lanes entering the roundabout indicate that you can go straight over (continuing on the Hythe Bypass?), as do both the inside lanes past the first and second exits. However, the exit is only one lane. This causes cars in both lanes to attempt to exit and causes multiple swerves, aggression, and likely collisions (I’ve only witnessed a bump). The road paint should be improved to identify which lane can be used for which exits.
