Tree blocking street light

I reported this last year, no action has been taken, the tree outside my house is totally blocking the light from the street light , the tree is growing too big for its proximity to my house and in my opinion needs a major prune, we have had an attempted break in, the lack of street lighting may have been a contributing factor.
