Tree outside 26 Thayers Farm Road needs pruning.

Reported via desktop in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 15:06, Thu 15 August 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6360904.

Tree needs pruning. Lower branches are such that someone may walk into them - I’m 5’8” and I need to duck. There are also a number of telephone wires that run through the tree - in the event of a storm the branches could bring the wires down. The tree roots are now also starting to lift the pavement. The low hanging branches could cause personal injury, damage to the telephone wires could seem claims for disruption as many people now work from home. The pavement position will only deteriorate. Whilst the issues have been prevalent for a while, the deteriorating situation now has the potential to cause injury and damage.

  • Nothing appears to have happened. With the nights drawing in - the clocks go back next weekend - and the leaves about to be shed, the situation is becoming more prone to an incident happening. As a Council Tax payer 8 would not wish to see my “payments” being used for a compensation claim. I understand our local MP now resides locally - I will bring this matter to his attention within the next few days.
