Loose/rattling cover/ironwork problem

Reported in the Loose/rattling cover/ironwork category by Gloucestershire County Council at 16:05, Wednesday 14 August 2024

FixMyStreet ref: 6356573.

I have received an email from Cllr Caroline Courtenay as below Hello Mr Bird I’ve heard back from the County Council and they have asked if you could please pass on a contact number and your address or the location of the problem so that they can send an Area Highways Representative round to inspect the issue. I can share your email address with them as well, if you don’t mind, so they can then contact you directly. Regards Cllr Caroline Courtney Liberal Democrat City Councillor for Tuffley The address is 13,Hillborough Rd Tuffley and the problem is water flowing constantly through the front garden wall on the right hand side. We have been living at the address for 29 years and this flow has never been like this in that time. The water has killed off a tree and also the hedge. We are not sure if this water is coming from the Stroud Rd roadway drains as Severn Trent inspector told us that it is not tap water but clean water….we are very confused. Also the water is running across the pavement and if it occurs over winter it will freeze and could result in an accident. I have been asked to contact your good selves to see if you have any idea. My phone number is 01452 546487 Many thanks Kind regards Louis Bird
