Cycle path/footpath overgrown with trees and weeds.

Sent to Mid Sussex District Council and West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6332642.

The cycle path/footpath is very overgrown no alternative to walk on slip road (which is 2 way ) there is a small housing development off this slip road. There are always lorries parked on side of road so no alternative other than to walk in the middle of road.There is only one footpath cycle path at this location. I have tried reporting to Highways and wscc both say they don't maintain this site.

  • The reply from the council was they would get to it sometime but couldn't give a time frame meanwhile they were monitoring it!!! whatever that means as it certainly won't right itself!!!

  • Still not fixed the footpath is not passable so people are walking up the slip road ,which is 2way!!! There was also 15 vehicles parked on the slip road making driving onto the A23 extremely hazardous.
