Weeds and grass verges
Sent to Torbay Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6325972.
Weeds and grass growing in kerbside gutters and footpaths ,grass gradually growing over pavements from grass verges which are poorly maintained .This whole estate looks run down and neglected and is considerably noticeable after living here for 35yrs.It almost feels like its being deliberately neglected for a reason ?Its bad enough with the appalling state of the pavements and road surfaces.

They came and hacked the grass verges everywhere using a blower to distribute all the cuttings everywhere but as for all the weeds going out of the kerbside... NOTHING visible has been attempted this year

Still weeds growing everywhere.....and grass verges merging over into kerb side gutter....Some side roads look like they've been cleared.It could be a case of who you know?

They came with a road sweeper.They chose random spots along the kerbs but I dont quite understand the logic even though there wasn't many cars parked at all .I watched them do one small area then left thinking they will return but havent.There seems to be just little bits here and there around Hookhills estate where they've been but not even half a job done .Its as if its just ticked a box to say theyve been …but was it really worth it.Considering is a vehicle with brushes its not exactly a manual job.Years ago they'd had a broom and shovel and done a the job hundred times better.

Grass and weeds on footpaths and kerbside still...long time of neglect .The roads are abysmal to say the least.Cant understand why they bother coming around with their roadsweeping doing a little bit here and there then leaving it...total waste of time and resources then painting the white lines

Area has been totally neglected ...maybe it's deliberate not to spend money on this estate and focus on the up and coming housing estates to boost their value .

Absolute disgrace including the dreadful patchwork bodged roads.
