Overgrown footpath

Reported via desktop in the Footpaths/ Rights of way (usually not tarmac) category anonymously at 08:06, Tue 6 August 2024

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6321027.

The footpath from Hunters Yard to the moorings on Womack Water is well maintained. The footpath beyond the moorings as you walk from Hunters Yard towards the River Thurne is now impassable. the problem continues all the way to the River Thurne.

I own Toad Hall and am now unable to access the property due to the poor state of the footpath. This property is on the market, as a result of my husband and I separating. But we are not able to get potential buyers to the property as the path is out of use.

This never used to get this bad but that last 2 years from mid July onwards the path has been getting increasingly overgrown. Last summer it was not mowed until mid August.

Please can it be better maintained and a cut scheduled ASAP.
