Overgrown trees never cut!
Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 23:02, Mon 5 August 2024
Sent to Enfield Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6320517.
It’s been beyond months and months that no one comes to cut the trees back or the hedges along Homestead Paddocks. The trees hang over the flats roof and have caused the gutters to become blocked as seeds from the trees have rooted in the pipes. Branches have fallen off and hit us as we’ve walked by and it is dangerous! We have informed the council but no one does a thing. The trees are massively overgrown and parts of them are falling into our garden creating mess and forcing the residents to constantly collect the leaves that fall off and they are NOT in our gardens and it’s not fair that we should keep doing this. They need to be cut back as a matter of urgency.
Updates
-
We’ve reported it many times as have the flats behind our flats. In the meanwhile the leaves are clogging up our gutters and taking root in them and parts of the trees and leaves all fall into our gardens which we have to collect up. The roots are also causing our pathways to uplift and it is terrible
