Entrance to the ancillary slip road opposite the Robin Hood pub

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 16:03, Monday 5 August 2024

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6318754.

Due to all road traffic using this small ancillary road during floods- including heavy goods vehicles, the road surface is now totally ruined - as is the wide grassed area. There is also a deep gorge where the tarmac meets the original kerbstone which would cause horrendous damage to any car driving into it. This problem is exacerbated by the huge artics and delivery lorries using this small road to unload materials for the new building site opposite - the nursing/retiremnt home. These delivery vehicles park on this small road as they cannot access the building site from the A29. We residents would be very grateful if this road plus the grassed area could be returned to its original condition.
