Damage to grass and surface following carnival event.

Reported via desktop in the Parks/landscapes category by sophie jones at 12:04, Mon 5 August 2024

Sent to Bromsgrove District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6317359.

Hi, I thought someone might fill this in after the event but its been a few weeks now and nobody has done anything about it.

At the bottom of the park where all the fairground vehicles were driving back and forth to their caravans there was some damage and rutts caused due to the heavy vehicles driving on the then wet ground. Its left several deep troughs and finished off the grass that was recovering from the water boards work here*.

Would be great if someone could fill this in and maybe put down some grass seed so its not such a muddy mess when it rains.

*Also there is a sign left behind here from these works - which has to be fished out of the brook almost daily. Be great if that could be collected by them too.

Updates

  • Thank you for dealing with this. The earth has been filled over and seeded. The road sign was not collected and is now in the Battlefield Brook though (just opposite the school).

    State changed to: Fixed
