Dropped curb onto bike path is too steep

There's a curb at the end of smith down lane that connects to a cycle path onto smithdown road area.
The curb that connects it is very steep and has caused damage to my bike and many others when cycling up/down it. It needs to be made shallower as most people are now cycling onto the pavement either side and avoiding the road it leads to.
