Dangerously overgrown footpath
Reported via desktop in the Pavements/Cycleway category anonymously at 22:14, Saturday 3 August 2024
Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6312683.
Halterworth Lane: the footpath in many places isn't even wide enough for an adult, let alone parent & child side by side, which is what was originally provided (in width). Brambles growing over, and much vegetation. The (2) worst places are 1. the east side between Saxon Way and Seward Rise. 2. The whole length from Jenner Way to Hestia Close (near the railway). It would be really nice to walk here (I do frequently) without having to dodge and duck, and step off when passing others. Please can it all have a good haircut? Thanks.
