Road base is collapsing

Reported via desktop in the Other Road Issues category by David Jackson at 20:15, Friday 2 August 2024

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6309724.

A deep trough is developing, mostly in the northbound carriageway, It seems to be alongside a largish manhole cover so may be caused by a collapsed drain below. The photo isn't very clear, but somebody has put a red cone on the verge to mark it. Vehicles have to slow down to about 10mph (according to my dashcam) to avoid damaging jolting.
