Remove or trim the tree

Reported via mobile in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 19:37, Friday 2 August 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6309632.

These 2 trees are way too big for our street, their leafs are clogging our gutter in the autumn and block the sun. The blocked sun encourage moss to grow on our roof. Please remove or trim this tree also one of the tree is half taken over by ivy anyway. The leafs in autumn make our street dirty as noone from council cleans it.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Please note that as outlined in our Tree Management Strategy (tree-management-strategy-2023-to-2027 (bromley.gov.uk) the Council will not prune trees in relation to the following:

    • Tree size, where a tree is judged to be overly large.

However, it is noted that the tree is touching the property building structure and works have been raised and issued to the contractor for completion, to high lift the tree and cut back from property structure.
