Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6305167.

The tree in the grass verg outside my house is rotten inside the trunk and this has led to it leaning over and looks as if it will completely collapse

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Historically, the tree has a large stem wound rising up the stem to crown break, which the tree has poorly occluded leading to dysfunctionment or rot forming in the stem affecting structural integrity, this is complicated by cracks forming in one of the branch break collars. A job has been raised for the tree to be removed with a replacement added to the planting schedule 2024/25 which is in hand to be planted next planting season starting in November running through to March 2025.
