Overhanging trees into our garden along a public footpath

There are trees lining the public footpath that runs at the bottom and the side of our garden (house number 47) overhanging into our garden. Leaves, seeds, tree debris is constantly falling into our garden and particularly on any washing I attempt to hang out.
