Hedgerow blocking pavement

The picture is taken on Wroslyn Road next to its junction with the road leading to Freeland Nursing Home.

It shows how much the overhanging hedgerow is now blocking the pavement.

In fact, you almost have to step off the pavement in order to get around it.

Anything the landowner can do to cut it back would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are responsible for maintaining any boundary features on their property that adjoin public highways and affect highway safety. In this case, the highway appears to be impacted, so we will contact the land/property owner. If necessary, further action will be taken.
