No stop lines or zigzags at pedestrian crossing

Reported via mobile anonymously at 18:17, Tue 30 July 2024

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6295188.

Photo won’t upload but this is a crossing on an exceptionally busy road leading to the city centre. Without stop lines or zigzags -they are worn away- this crossing is simply dangerous.

Updates

  • Not fixed a month later. 'the Scottish Government has committed to “a Safe System approach” to road safety, which is “based on the principle that our life and health should not be compromised by our need to travel'.

  • Still not fixed. There are numerous crossings in Glasgow where safety is compromised by a failure to maintain simple white lines on the road.
