Road markings confusing and causing confusion

Reported via mobile in the General road marking and stud issues category anonymously at 07:00, Sunday 28 July 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council 3 hours, 6 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 6284147.

Two issues,

1) people keep getting in the left hand lane to go right - right is the last exit from the roundabout.

2) people are going straight on from the right lane - roundabout only has one lane exiting second exit but both lanes coming from KFC have straight on arrows.

The signage is confusing and the cause of many arguments. The old markings are still on the road for where the previous entrance to the park and ride was.

From Hatherley lane (KFC) there is no sensible reason why left lane should go right. This can easily be resolved by changing the arrow in the right hand lane to a right arrow and adding another set of arrows on the approach. It may be worth considering an angled arrow on the roundabout by the park and ride markings
