Illegal Parking
Sent to Folkestone and Hythe District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6283809.
1. Vehicle parking within 10m of Junction 2. Vehicle parking partially on a footway. 3. Vehicle parking on grass verge 4. Criminal damage to grass verge 5. Vehicle obstrucring bus stop.
All of these are criminal offences under the highways act.
Vehicle has been reported to KCC 23 times befor in same location with no response or action.
Vehicle belongs to corner house in Uphill opposite 2 Heyford Close. Owners name is Rob. He was in a band called the A Tees.
I have seen him driving multiple occasions it and told him not to park there. His response was "Fuck off and mind your own business, what are you gonna do, arrest me? you cunt!" (Apologies for swearing, but it is an exact quote).
Please remove this vehicle.

Im fed up trying to park outside my home sutherland close where they park on corners my wife is disabled we struggle getting around something needs to be done now if a fire engine or ambulance needs to get around in emergency could cause deaths

This issue is still ongoing the grass verge is being destroyed by car CY22 DYD. Which I have reported to the council and police as criminal damage.
Police have said council have full authority to issue tickets for illegal parking. Not just for yellow lines like they claim but any parking offence outlined in the highways act which includes: 1. parking partially on a footway or verge 2. parking opposite or within 10m of a bust stop 3. parking opposite or within 10m of a junction 4. parking opposing traffic flow without aditional red reflectors fitted to front of vehicle 5. parking on a highway in fog without parking lights on
All of these offences have been committed by this vehicle.
The police have written to the council to remind them of their powers of which I have a copy.
