New road surface is already ruined by some heavy machinery

Reported via mobile in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 15:52, Friday 26 July 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 7 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 6280494.

This stretch of road has been resurfaced (last week) it seems something like a tractor has driven over it turning long stretches into what resembles rumble strips, horrendous in a car and not useable on a bike

Council ref: ENQ241012438

  • I agree with the above statement. The road surface between Pitts Lane and into New Yatt is not fit for purpose. The job needs re-doing and robust enough for tractors to use the carriageway as we live in a rural area where farmers need to get from one location to another. Thank you.
