Several overgrown trees branches blocking pavement.

Reported via desktop in the Parks/landscapes category by Karen Robinson at 22:02, Thu 25 July 2024

Sent to Richmond upon Thames Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6277344.

There are several large Lime trees located along the edge of Richmond Green (near Richmond Palace) which have grown a large amount of shoots at the lower level of the trees. These leaf-covered branches are now growing across the pavement blocking pedestrians from passing without pushing the branches out of the way to get past.. And it’s impossible for wheelchair users & pushchairs to get past without having to move off the pavement kerb onto the road and then have to get back up the kerb onto the pavement. This is necessary for each overgrown tree along this stretch of pavement. These low branches urgently need cutting right back and need regular maintenance. I had hoped the maintenance team responsible for this area would have noticed that the tree branches are blocking the pavement, but it’s been like this for months. Please can someone help? Thank you.
