Water still flowing and caused an accident
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6271057.
The drain/spring has been blocked outside Newton Cottage since February. GL6 0AY The road is now really slippery and dangerous to walk on. I fell last week and hurt my knee, and today I saw an elderly lady fall badly at exactly the same spot. Please make this a priority before someone seriously injures themselves.

We will investigate the issue. If additional clearance work is needed, the local highways team will prioritise the most urgent reports. Where possible, maintenance tasks will be grouped together in a schedule for efficiency.
Sometimes during periods of heavy rain, even a clear gully can be overwhelmed. Usually the water will drain away within an hour.
