Road surface is showing signs of subsidence again

Reported via desktop in the Other Road Issues category anonymously at 14:00, Wed 24 July 2024

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6270304.

The road surface along the line of surface water drains shows further signs of subsiding causing vehicles to bounce over the area and even using wrong side of road to avoid - especially large vans and lorries.

Suspect a broken surface water runoff pipe under road surface (Deeper that 2.5m) undermining the subsoil.

  • Still no action on this. Still causing a problem for delivery vehicles and is a real test of car suspension. Hope we don't get a sink hole!
