Street full of litter/dog mess for at least a year.

Reported via mobile in the Street Cleansing and Litter category anonymously at 21:04, Tue 23 July 2024

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6267238.

We have lived on Ridsdale Rd for nearly a year now and it seems that the street is never, ever cleaned. The same for Anerley Hill. If glass gets broken, it stays there. There is dog mess everywhere. There are piles of litter, dumped furniture, washed up sand from the gas works. Everybody’s bins are always overflowing as they are mostly open bins and not wheelie bins. The foxes empty everything. We cannot possibly fit our rubbish in the small black bins provided. We used to live in Crystal Palace and the difference to the attention given to cleaning the streets is like night and day. Especially after the street has been turned upside down by Thames Water and SGN recently, we’d really like to see the street regularly cleaned. And to be provided with up to date bins. Could you help? Thank you.

  • Bromley council is meant to be cleaning the roads and pavements twice a week and this is categorically not happening! Ive asked for an update on this as castledine and risdale road are disgraceful. Covered in dog mess, litter, fly tipping.
