Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6266984.
I had to aid an elderly lady this afternoon, who had fallen as a result of becoming tangled in the weeds which cover a huge section of the pavements . Not only is the vast amount of overgrown weeds a problem, but the surface is quite slippery, as I discovered, when I tried to help her to her feet and almost slipped myself. She appeared to be unharmed, but I fear that someone a little more frail, won't be so fortunate. This issue needs attention, before another incident occurs.
