A tree is dead outside 4 Hillcrest Road and now a van has backed into it and I am not sure if it is safe

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Sadly, the young tree is dead standing but with no damage to the structural roots supporting it to the ground. A job has been raised to remove the tree with a replacement added to the planting schedule 2024/25 in hand to be planted next planting season starting in November running through to March 2025.

  • Please accept our apologies for the delays, the works have been taken off our incumbent contractor and issued to a third party contractor for completion. We envisage that the contractor will take 6-8 weeks to complete them.
