We gave up waiting for it to be sorted out and so a group of us residents cleared the street of litter ourselves on Saturday. So the council effectively did nothing!

This is an ongoing problem of litter, plastic waste etc collects at the top end of Lucas Road. It is not cleaned away unless I report it and then sometimes someone will turn up and do a incomplete job of it. This is a constant issue, not dealt with in the required way. The council tell me that our street is cleaned every two weeks. This is simply NOT true!
