Railings are needed here!

The persistent parking on these double yellow lines is getting ridiculous. They are blocking the road up to the traffic lights. We have no traffic enforcement officers in our council and therefore I been told it’s a police matter but these vehicles still park right up to the traffic lights which is causing problems. I believe the simple solution would be to erect a railing from the traffic lights all the way down to where the double yellows lines. This area as you go up Hale road towards Dundalk road lights on the left hand side opposite Dundalk Road.
