Grass cutting schedule not followed

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 18:22, Fri 19 July 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6251318.

The communal grass areas in Leigh Close have not been cut to the schedule advertised. The grass did not get a full cut at thd end of last growing season or at the beginning of this. The edges have been trimmed twice, but the grass still overhangs the paths and looks a mess. It cannot be used by dog walkers or children walking to school and there is a risk of it catching fire. It is very near to houses and it is depressing to see. Other communal grass nearby (Marshfield way) gets much more attention.
