Pavement parking narrowing link road

Reported in the Car parking category by steven wilson at 18:47, Mon 20 April 2015

Sent to Fylde Borough Council 3 minutes later

At about 3pm each school day parents are parking their cars on the pavement on the link road between Park View Road and Ballam Road. This turns the small road into narrow road fit for only one car to drive through. This causes cars to queue on both Ballam and Park View. This has led to a near miss crash. I bet this a regular problem. Please ban parking before there is a death. No one wants a child dying before this is declared a dangerous road.

  • About 6 week's a councillor from LCC contacted me for clarification and passed on my query to the transport dept. I have not heard anything since. As Lancashire is a large county I assume an inspection will take some time.
