Drainage ditch not being cleared
Reported via iOS in the Blocked Drain category anonymously at 07:46, Tue 16 July 2024
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6234076.
I would like to ask how often the drainage ditch that runs along 28-58 Whitebeam Avenue is supposed to be cleared of debri, leafs, tree branches and general rubbish etc?
This used to be cleared every 5 years.
I would also like to know how often the oak trees should be lopped this also was every 5 years?

Thank you for your enquiry. Our Grounds Maintenance team have recently attended to clear as much of the ditch as possible, but are awaiting assistance for removal of the tree in order to continue. Please rest assured that this area has not been forgotten and is still attended.

This has still NOT been cleared at all. The whole area is exactly the same as when I reported it in April. The rats have nested beneath it which Bromley council are aware of
