Traffic lights constantly going red at crossing

Reported via Android in the Traffic lights category anonymously at 12:38, Monday 15 July 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6231074.

The traffic lights at the crossing are going red constantly even when no one is crossing (or waiting to cross) to road. They then stay red for a long time.

It looks like one buttons that pedestrians press to cross the road is stuck down as the red light to show that the button has been depressed is also always on.

This is causing unnecessary queues and driver are starting to ignore the red lights.

Needs urgent attention.
