Pavement surface not good

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category by Diss town councillor welch at 15:06, Fri 12 July 2024

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6222873.

The surface of the pavement between Denmark street and Croft lane is not very good for people in wheel chairs or thin shoes the stone surface needs to be relaid it forces wheel chair users to go into a busy road. It would cause white finger if you travel up and down it a lot. You will find a lot of wheelchair uses do as ir is there main way into town. Do not disregard this until you have been out and looked at it.

Updates

  • Norfolk council said it didn’t need doing however I disagree

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • This has not been fixed as the council believe it is ok. However it was reported due to the ride being given to people in wheel chairs and I believe ve it still needs looking at for this reason.
