Pavement lifting and breaking

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6212134.

Due to tree roots the pavement outside 62 & 64 Stembridge is becoming dangerous for pedestrians. It is also very close to the fire hydrant cover.

  • It has not been collected. I am having chemotherapy for cancer at the moments in three week cycles. i can only carry the bin in during my week off drugs so i was hoping this would be resolved. There is a false report that it has been collected. Please could you contact me today friday.

  • Regarding the original defect reported, above (lifted/broken paving and tarmac due to tree roots), this requires the input of two separate contractors and we have reminded both to take appropriate action to address this matter as soon as possible.

  • The reported issue requires the footway to be excavated to allow for tree root trimming before being reinstated, these works will now be co-ordinated between our Highways and Tree Teams.
