Traffic calming chicane and cycle lanes

The use of the cycle lanes at the chicanes on Berry Hill Road and Milton Road are potentially dangerous encouraging cyclists to pass through against oncoming traffic or risk being passed too close by traffic from behind. I use the carriageway and suffer abuse or refusal to follow priority from oncoming traffic on a daily basis. The cycle lane principle works when there's a single road narrowing island but not when there are two. I would be happy to meet so.eone on site to discuss this.
