Under the Railway Bridge on Alderley Road Chelford

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway category anonymously at 08:23, Wed 3 July 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6184855.

This issue has been reported many times and yet it still continues - a bit of rain and it FLOODS - it wasn't long ago since CE had this area repaired and since then it has been a nightmare. Even on the driest days water is evidence and flooding - apparently it is from the farmers field as there is a drain that is blocked but the field isn't near this road - can something be done in the interest of safety and before the newly repaired road erodes away

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
