Recent resurfacing works

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and West Oxfordshire District Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6178354.

Recent resurfacing work of approximately 2miles of road on the B4047 around Minster Lovell going towards Burford. The pot holes still exist, the old surface is visible in places where the cover is that thin and the new surface is breaking up already.

  • A highways officer carried out an initial inspection of the road concerned, and no issues were highlighted regarding the surface dressing treatment carried out. There is however a length with a small area of chipping loss on the junction with Brize Norton Rd in Minster Lovell. This wasn’t present during the initial site quality checks, but developed in the weeks afterwards, due to it being a busy junction. This has been brought to the attention of our surfacing contractor and is being monitored.
